Fish Farm Asset Management

Your fish farm, run properly, while you get on with your life.

Many good ponds sit underused because the owner lives in Guwahati, Delhi or abroad, or simply has another job. We take over day-to-day operation, from pond preparation to harvest and sale, and report to you every month.

Who it’s for

  • Farm owners living away

How we engage

Multi-year arrangements, reviewed every year. The minimum operational area is 2 hectares (about 15 bigha) of water area, in one farm or nearby ponds.

The work, item by item.

Take the full service or only the pieces you need. Every item below can be scoped as a stand-alone assignment.

  • Site assessment & takeover plan

Soil, water, bunds, inlets, security and past records, followed by a written plan for the first three years.

  • Pond renovation

Desilting, bund repair, inlet and outlet work and flood protection, costed and scheduled before the season.

  • Staffing & supervision

A resident supervisor and trained labour, with our fisheries specialist visiting on a fixed schedule.

  • Seed, feed & inputs

Certified seed, quality feed and inputs bought in bulk through our supplier network.

  • Water quality & fish health

Regular testing, sampling, and fast response to oxygen crashes and disease.

  • Harvest, grading & sale

Harvests planned around price peaks such as Magh Bihu, sold to vetted buyers at transparent rates.

  • Accounts & owner reporting

Monthly reports with photos, stock estimates, costs and sales; full accounts for every cycle.

Minimum 2 hectares of water.

That is about 15 bigha, or 5 acres. Below that, the cost of a resident supervisor and specialist visits takes too large a share of the income. Nearby ponds can be combined.

Two ways to structure it

  • Management fee

A fixed monthly fee plus a performance bonus above an agreed production target. You fund operating costs and keep the surplus.

  • Revenue share

We share an agreed percentage of net sales. Suits owners who want to limit their involvement further.

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. Diagnostic visit

Two weeks to assess the farm and its history.

  2. Proposal

A three-year plan with investment needs, projected production and the management model.

  3. Handover & renovation

Agreement signed, staff in place, repairs done before stocking.

  4. Operate & report

We run the cycles; you get monthly reports and cycle accounts.

What you receive

  • Three-year farm plan

What clients usually ask.

Something else? Call +91 93653 40780.

Why is the minimum 2 hectares?

Below that, the cost of a resident supervisor and specialist visits takes too large a share of the income. Smaller owners can still work with us through training and advisory support.

Can several small ponds be combined?

Yes, if they are close enough to be managed by one team, usually within a few kilometres, and add up to at least 2 hectares of water area.

Who owns the fish and the income?

You do. Under the management-fee model all sales go to you; under revenue share the split is fixed in the agreement. Either way, every sale is documented.

What if there is a flood or disease loss?

We plan for both: bund heights, net fencing, emergency harvest plans and insurance where it is available. Losses and their causes are reported to you immediately.

Have a farm, a programme or a problem worth solving?

Tell us what you are working on. A senior member of the team will call you back within two working days, usually sooner.
